What do I send?
- Finished manuscript in .doc or .docx form. (if you have something different don’t be afraid to ask.)
- ebook cover
- Table of Contents
- Copyright page
- Dedication, afterward, about the author (if applicable)
- Any interior images you have the rights to use. (300ppi or above)
- Trim size for print copy
What is the turn around time?
- Usually two weeks. Most of the time I finish a job before this, but depending on the time of year and current workload, it may take two weeks before you receive your files.
How do I submit my files?

Will you upload the files for me?
- Unfortunately I cannot. When uploading files books sellers ask for passwords, and that would give me access to your private and financial information. But I have uploaded my own books and am familiar with the process. So if you have any questions feel free to ask, I just may have the answer.
What happens if I find typos?
- Don’t fret. They can be adjusted. After you receive your files, I will adjust up to ten typos free of charge. Anything beyond that is $2.00 a typo to change. If there are errors in the formatting the changes will always be free. I will work on your manuscript until it is error free.
How do I pay?
- PayPal is the preferred method of payment.
What if I miss my deadline?
- If you reschedule prior to 30 days before the agreed upon date, your deposit will roll into the next available date.
- If you send the files more than 3 days late you may be pushed to the next available date or may be charged and extra $25.00 for a rush order to ensure you receive your manuscript on the agreed upon scheduled return date.
I hate to mention such things, but there can be a high cancellation rate at times. When I schedule your date I make myself unavailable to anyone else that may request the same time slot.
Do you do rush requests?
- If you have a manuscript ready right now and are looking for design, I may have an open slot as we speak. But unfortunately I do not have a “rush service” that puts you on top of the queue. I understand that even the best made plans sometimes go haywire, but I work on a first come first serve bases and I want to honor that commitment to people who scheduled in advance. I give every project the attention it deserves, and I cannot let a new unscheduled job compromise that for either of you.

- Ebooks= mobi, and epub
The balance (minus deposit) will be due upon receiving finished project.
At this time Tattered Page Ink formats novels only. Design for children’s picture books will be offered in the future.
Unless otherwise requested the font used will be Adobe Garamond Pro, 12 point. If you have any other ideas or requests all you have to do is ask. I’m more than happy to design to your specific needs.
